Allysa Short

Allysa is a true miracle.  Born in South Carolina at 1.5lbs, her parents were told she would be blind if she did in fact live.  Not only did she live, but her vision is that of a true artist.  Her family moved back to their home in Montana.  At the age of two and a paintbrush in her tiny hand, her artistic career began.  Thanks to artist Linda Short, Allysa's Nana, her talents were greatly expanded.  Her mediums include water color, acrylic and now exclusively scratchboard.  Her love of animals, most notably her horse Champ, are the centerpieces of her work.  Now at the young age of 21 she is using a razor blade to leave her mark.  The vision and abilities of this young woman are undeniable.
